Maybe I’m making it sound more than what it is. Maybe “adult” isn’t it. I still think I’ll be an adult one day but it’s gonna have to hurry up. Undertakers have taken to shadowing me. Sorry – I just found Andy Huggins’ Facebook page and it was a bit of a jolt when I realised I identified with almost all his jokes.
I also identify with food. This section of The TEdASPHERE is all about food, for FSM’s sake.
And this is where these seemingly disparate threads meld into an incandescently brilliant synergy.
You see, the picture above is of one of those large ALDI lasagnes. CORRECTION: This is what’s left of one of those large ALDI lasagnes after two adults have finished their dinner… We somehow managed to get through two pieces (Spouse) and three pieces. (yr Editor)
Which ties in with another thing I really like, Garfie. . . cats. I’m unashamedly a cat person, have had a succession of pets throughout my life, cats, dogs, kangaroos, emus, a disabled peregrine falcon, a grumpy donkey jenny named Dinah, rabbits, possums, poultry, and raised a few orphan sheep and a few blue-tongue lizards – by my standards, a pretty standard childhood – that ain’t finished yet, far from it. I have so much more to get up to!
