The Big Silver Lining
Today 26th Oct 2040 was that honey lemonade day. A few days of being cavalier to my muscles – and the help of one of the genuinely nicest people I’ve been privileged to know – and the gardens are looking decidedly better and more productive, and we both got heaps done in a spot of perfect weather. Way too early for dinner we decided to head to McD’s to boring home a really fast, fast food, dinner.
Playing Bad Manners rude boy ska music on the BT speaker, looking around how much of the garden and veranda we’ve put to rights – and liking how much better it all looks, and how many of the vegetables are producing already, the Secret Grotto garden beside the entry gate. Oh and watching a 9kg cat trying to use a too-small plant pot as his long drop dunny . . . That earned an embarrassing Coke spit and eventual laughter.
